Mysticsense review: what the free minutes are really worth
The offer is real, but it is a refund of up to $15 in site credit, not five free minutes at any price. With a first deposit of $15 or more it covers all five minutes when your reader charges $3.00 a minute or less. Above that rate, it covers less.

What a reading costs
Mysticsense has no fixed price list: every reader sets a rate per minute. These are the rates of the 18 readers at the top of its online list at 5:14 pm New York time on October 7, 2026. The list shows a selection, not everyone online, and rates change, so check the profile before you connect.
The sample moves during the day. Two hours earlier, at 3:22 pm, the same list put the median call rate at $4.18 and the median chat rate at $3.34. At 5:14 pm they were $3.28 and $2.22.

The “5 free minutes”, worked out
After your first reading, Mysticsense credits back the cost of its first five minutes at that reader’s rate. The credit is capped: $15 if your first deposit was $15 or more, $10 if it was $10. It arrives as balance on your account, with an email confirmation, not as money on your card.
So the offer covers all five minutes only with a reader at $3.00 a minute or less, or $2.00 with a $10 deposit. In our sample that held for most chat rates, fewer than half of call rates and no video rate.

One inconsistency to know: the help page asks you to report a problem within 24 hours, the refund policy allows 48. Report it the same day.

What works
- Every reader’s rate per minute is on the profile before you connect; the cheapest chat rate in our sample was $1.42.
- Chat transcripts and call or video recordings stay in your account history, so you can go back to a reading later.
- Applicants pass an interview with experienced readers, including a demonstration reading, and profile photos are checked against an ID, Mysticsense says.
- A written wellbeing policy: Mysticsense says it suspends and alerts accounts that show unhealthy spending.
- You can book a reader in advance when they open their calendar, instead of waiting for them to come online.
What to watch
- The “5 free minutes” is a credit capped at $10 or $15; above $3.00 a minute it covers less than five minutes.
- A disappointing reading is compensated with up to 10 minutes of credit, requested within 48 hours, not with a cash refund.
- On-site reviews are moderated: one-line negative reviews and words such as “fake” or “useless” are not published, so profile stars count only what passed.
- Its own terms say Mysticsense does not guarantee readers’ qualifications or background, whatever the screening.
- Threatening a chargeback can get an account closed under the refund policy; settle disputes with support first.

On AI: when a customer suspected chat answers were written by AI (Trustpilot, July 2026), Mysticsense replied that using AI in readings is against its house rules.
Who it suits
Mysticsense works best as a low-cost trial of a live reading. It works less well if you need cash refunds or US-law protections.
A good fit if you
- want to find out, for $10 to $15, whether a live reading does anything for you;
- prefer chat and want a transcript to come back to;
- have one tarot question and want a reader who works with cards: the catalogue filters by tool.
Look elsewhere if you
- want a refund in cash rather than site credit;
- want disputes handled under US law: the terms choose Israeli law and the courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa;
- are deciding something medical, legal or financial: the terms call the service entertainment.

- The company claimed the profile in April 2020, the year Mysticsense started.
What the one- and two-star reviews repeat
- A refund was refused. Mysticsense’s reply points to its refund policy: the 48-hour window and the credit-only rule.
- A $65 hold for a booked video session was turned into credit after the session was cancelled. After a PayPal dispute, Mysticsense admitted the error and refunded the money.
- A customer suspected the chat answers were written with AI. Mysticsense replied that AI in readings is against its rules.
- A reader, not a customer, wrote that calls dropped after a site redesign. Availability changes; so do rates.

On October 7, 2026 it had a 4.6 Trustpilot score from 1,468 reviews and no BBB complaints. Legit is not the same as accurate: its own terms describe readings as entertainment.
How do the Mysticsense free minutes work?
Deposit at least $10 and have your first reading. Afterwards Mysticsense credits back the cost of the first five minutes at that reader’s rate: up to $15 if you deposited $15 or more, up to $10 if you deposited $10. Above $3.00 a minute the cap covers less than five minutes.
How much does Mysticsense cost per minute?
Each reader sets a rate. Among the 18 readers at the top of the online list at 5:14 pm ET on October 7, 2026, chat cost $1.42 to $7.77 a minute (median $2.22), calls $1.53 to $7.77 (median $3.28) and video $3.99 to $11.11 (median $7.77). The minimum first deposit is $10.
Is there a Mysticsense promo code?

In two cases. An unused deposit can be refunded in cash if you ask within 48 hours of paying, once. For a reading you were unhappy with, you can ask within 48 hours for up to 10 minutes back as account credit, only for your last paid reading and once per reader.

We read Mysticsense’s terms, refund, reviews and wellbeing policies and its help pages, recorded the rates of the readers at the top of its online list twice in one day, took screenshots of three pages, and pulled its ratings from Trustpilot, BBB, the App Store and Google Play, all on October 7, 2026. We did not pay for test sessions. Prices and offers change; if something here no longer matches the site, the site is right and we will update this page.
