Printable tarot cards
The full Tarot Verdict deck as a print-ready PDF: all 78 woodcut cards at real tarot size, 70 × 120 mm, four to a sheet, with matching backs for two-sided printing. It is free for personal use. Print it at home, cut along the marks and read with the same cards you see on this site.
42 pages: instructions, a list of cards by sheet, then 20 sheets of cards, each followed by its backs.
What the sheets look like

What is in the PDF
- 78 cards: the 22 Major Arcana and the four suits of fourteen, in the woodcut style used across this site.
- 2 extra cards fill the last sheet: a title card and a key to the four suits and their elements.
- Real tarot size, 70 × 120 mm (2.76 × 4.72 in), the size tarot sleeves are made for.
- 2 mm of bleed and crop marks, so a cut that drifts slightly still leaves no white edge.
- Backs on the even pages, mirrored so a two-sided print puts each back behind its card.
- A first page with instructions and a 50 mm scale bar, and a second page listing the cards on each sheet.
How to print the deck
- Paper. Matte or satin card stock, 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover). Most home printers take it through the rear tray; check the maximum weight in the manual.
- Scale. Set it to “Actual size” or 100%. “Fit to page” shrinks the cards below tarot size.
- Two-sided. Choose “flip on long edge” and print pages 3–42. Pages 1 and 2 are the instructions and the card list.
- Test sheet. Print pages 3–4 on plain paper and hold the sheet up to a light: the backs should sit behind the cards.
- No duplex printer. Print the odd pages, put the stack back in the tray the way your printer’s manual describes for manual duplex, then print the even pages.
Cutting and finishing
Each sheet has crop marks at its edges, one pair for every cut. Lay a ruler across matching marks and cut along that line. The color runs 2 mm past the line, so the card edge does not need to be perfect. A paper trimmer is the quickest tool; a craft knife with a metal ruler gives the same clean edge. Scissors work too if you pencil the lines in first.
Shop-bought decks have rounded corners: a 3–4 mm corner punch gives the printed cards the same finish and stops the corners from fraying. If the deck will be shuffled a lot, tarot sleeves of 70 × 120 mm protect the edges. Laminating makes the cards stiff and hard to shuffle, so it suits a single card kept on a desk better than a whole deck.
Card backs on their own
The backs are also a separate one-page file in the same grid: for printing them on a different paper, for gluing to the fronts, or for reprinting the backs of a single sheet.

Keep the meanings next to the deck
The tarot cheat sheet lists all 78 cards on three pages: number, name, three upright and three reversed keywords, and the yes-or-no verdict. It uses the same woodcut thumbnails, so a printed card and its line on the sheet match at a glance.

Questions
Are these printable tarot cards free?
Yes. The PDF is free to download and print for personal use, with no sign-up. Selling the files or printed copies is not allowed.
What size are the printable tarot cards?
70 × 120 mm (2.76 × 4.72 in), the usual tarot size, so standard tarot sleeves fit. Print at 100% or “Actual size”: “Fit to page” shrinks the cards.
What paper should I print tarot cards on?
Matte or satin card stock of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) gives cards that shuffle and stand up to handling. Check the heaviest paper your printer accepts first; plain paper is fine for a test sheet or for gluing onto card stock.
How do I get the backs to line up with the fronts?
Print pages 3–42 two-sided with “flip on long edge”, and test one sheet on plain paper first by holding it up to a light. The grid is centered on the page, so the cuts line up even with “flip on short edge” — only the sun on the backs ends up upside down.
Can I print the deck without backs?
Yes. Print only the odd pages (1, 3, 5 … 41): page 1 is the instructions and the rest are the cards. Plain white backs are common on home-made decks, and the separate backs file lets you add them later by gluing.
Which tarot system does the deck follow?
The standard 78 cards in the Rider–Waite–Smith order: Strength is VIII and Justice is XI, the suits are Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles, and the court is Page, Knight, Queen and King. The art is a woodcut-style deck drawn for this site, the same images as on every card page here.
