Oranum review: built around live video, easy to browse, harder to price
Oranum’s strength is the live-room format: you can watch readers in a public chat before paying for a private session. The trade-off is pricing opacity. The platform uses Coins, does not publish a dollar-per-minute chart on the pages we read, and its SmartBuy setting can automatically buy a $27.99 package when your balance falls below 7 credits.

| Item | What Oranum says | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Operator | For US users: JWS Americas S.à r.l., Luxembourg, RCS 249.539; address 4 Rue Lou Hemmer, Senningerberg. terms | The contracting company is in Luxembourg, not a US state. |
| Billing names | Duodecad IT Services Luxembourg S.à r.l.; charges may appear as dditservices.com, Epoch.com or CCBill.com. FAQ | A card statement may not say “Oranum,” so check the billing descriptor before disputing a charge. |
| Formats | Live reader streams, free public chat, paid private video chat, video and voice calls, messages, and paid subscriptions to reader videos and stories. FAQ | You can sample a reader’s manner in public chat, then pay if you want a private session. |
| Pricing model | Coins bought in packages; package price depends on country. SmartBuy buys a package automatically, by default $27.99, when the balance is below 7 credits. terms | The important setting is not only the reader’s price; it is whether automatic top-up is on. |
| New-member offer | New members get packages with bonus Coins, and free Coins for card verification. FAQ | The offer is in Oranum’s internal currency, not a posted dollar discount. |
| Refunds | After spending begins, refunds are not accepted; compensation is only for platform failure, and bonus Coins are not refundable. terms | Treat each Coin purchase as money you intend to use on the site. |
| Subscriptions | A subscription to a reader’s locked content renews every 30 days until canceled. terms | Cancel the reader-content subscription if you only wanted a single month. |
| Apps | No customer app in the US App Store or Google Play; the listed “Oranum Broadcaster” app is for readers. App Store | US customers should expect to use the website, not a client app. |
| Reader screening | Not published on the Oranum pages we read. FAQ | You can judge the public room and reviews, but Oranum does not publish a vetting process there. |
What a reading costs
Oranum does not publish a dollar-per-minute price chart on the pages we read. It uses Coins bought in packages, with country-dependent package prices, and the terms describe a SmartBuy auto-purchase rule.
| Rule | What Oranum says | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Currency | Readings use Coins bought in packages; package price depends on country. terms | Do not compare readers only by a headline; check the package and Coin cost before paying. |
| SmartBuy | By default, SmartBuy purchases a $27.99 package when your balance is below 7 credits. terms | If you do not want automatic top-ups, find and change that setting before a long private session. |
| New members | New members are offered packages with bonus Coins and free Coins for card verification. FAQ | The bonus can soften the first purchase, but it is still site credit. |
| Reader content | Paid subscriptions to a reader’s videos or stories renew every 30 days until canceled. terms | A subscription is separate from a private live reading. |
| After spending | Refunds are not accepted after spending begins; compensation is only for a platform failure. terms | Buy the smallest package that fits your planned session. |
Billing may be handled by Duodecad IT Services Luxembourg S.à r.l., CCBill or Epoch. Oranum says the card statement can show dditservices.com, Epoch.com or CCBill.com, so save the receipt and match the descriptor before assuming an unknown charge.
Bonus Coins for new members
Oranum’s published new-customer offer is in Coins. The FAQ does not publish a fixed dollar value for the bonus on the pages we read.
Oranum says new members can buy packages with bonus Coins, and can receive free Coins for card verification. That is useful if you already plan to try a live private room, but it is not the same thing as a published free-minute rate.
Because the platform uses Coins and the package price depends on country, the practical step is simple: look at the package before paying, check whether SmartBuy is on, then treat bonus Coins as non-cash site credit.

Your first session, step by step
The order Oranum’s model suggests, with the points where money can move.
- Open the site
Start with the live rooms and categories. The home page is built around readers broadcasting live.
Browse first - Watch the public chat
Free chat lets you see how a reader speaks before you ask for a paid private reading.
No private bill yet - Choose a Coin package
Check the package price in your country and whether any new-member bonus Coins apply.
You buy Coins - Check SmartBuy
SmartBuy can automatically buy a $27.99 package when your balance falls below 7 credits.
Auto top-up risk - Enter a paid private format
Paid options include private video chat, video and voice calls, messages, and reader content.
Coins are spent - If something breaks, ask support
Oranum says compensation is only for platform failure, and bonus Coins are not refundable.
Limited compensation
What works, and what to watch
The useful parts and the catches, taken from Oranum’s own pages and its public ratings.
What works
- The live broadcast model lets you observe a reader in public chat before paying for a private room.
- There are several paid formats: private video chat, video and voice calls, messages, and reader content.
- Payment options go beyond cards, including European Direct Debit, online banking, phone payment and bank transfer.
- New members can receive bonus Coins on packages and free Coins for card verification.
What to watch
- The pages we read do not publish a dollar-per-minute chart; Coins and country-based packages make comparison harder.
- SmartBuy can buy a $27.99 package automatically when the balance is below 7 credits.
- After spending starts, Oranum says refunds are not accepted unless the platform itself failed.
- Reader-content subscriptions renew every 30 days until canceled.
- Trustpilot shows 41.5% one-star reviews, and the profile says the company has not replied to negative reviews.
- There is no customer app in the US app stores; the Oranum Broadcaster app is for readers.
Who it suits
Oranum is most natural for people who want to watch live readers first. It is a weaker fit if you need simple dollar pricing and cash-refund rules.
A good fit if you
- want to browse live video rooms before deciding who gets your question;
- like tarot, astrology, clairvoyance, healing or numerology categories in one live directory;
- are comfortable buying site credit and setting your own spending limit before a private room.
Look elsewhere if you
- want a published dollar-per-minute range before creating an account;
- want a customer app in the US app stores;
- want broad cash refunds after a reading has begun.
Oranum compared with Purple Garden, Keen and Mysticsense
Oranum is the live-video outlier here. The others publish more conventional per-minute reading formats or app listings.

Rates are not measured the same way across these platforms: Oranum publishes Coin-package rules, Keen and Mysticsense publish reader rates, and Purple Garden does not publish a platform-wide range on its own pages.
What customers say, and where
The outside record is thin: Trustpilot is the main public review source we found, and Oranum does not publish a customer app in US stores.
- The company claimed the Trustpilot profile in March 2024.
- Trustpilot shows no recent history of invitations for reviews.
- For negative reviews, Trustpilot says the company hasn’t replied.
What the one- and two-star reviews repeat
- A customer said the site froze during a paid reading and that a refund was refused under the rules, according to the Trustpilot summary.
